I'm research starting an Amazon business. But I'm still kind of confused.
What I understand so far, is: 1. Product SKU for a resale product should come from the manufacturer/supplier. But what if the product is just generic yet supplier doesn't have an SKU? 2. What if I am reselling a brand (with their authorization), but the brand doesn't exist on Amazon? Will Amazon show the hyperlink that says "Brand: XYZ" on top of the listing? I suppose not, so what will show in its place? 3. What if the brand owners doesn't have SKU for their product? 4. How can someone "piggyback" on another listing? (Ie the sold by box)? Does this mean first person creates a listing using manufacturers SKU, then second person sells same product and therefore same SKU from manufacturer, so Amazon puts the second person in the first persons listing? Will the second person now be able to edit the listing, and will that happen without the first person having to approve the edits?
