Anyone else getting fed up with the Amazon FBA model?
I've been in the game since 2017 and while I've made well over 6 figures in sales, I'm just getting really tired of all the competition and general lack of control you have over your own business.
Good example was yesterday I got a 1 star review left by a customer who was not verified, and that I have no way of contacting to fix the issue because they didn't leave their real name.
Don't get me wrong, I've got over 3,000 positive reviews, but this kind of thing just highlights how little control I have over my business. What if my competitor paid someone to leave 1,000 negative reviews unverified…that could wipe out my business.
On top of that, the profit margins are slim (25% at best).
I have also been focusing on another online business model which I'm looking to transition into fully in 2021, which is way more reliable, more profitable, easier to scale and allows you to have more control over, but just wondering what current experienced Amazon sellers are thinking with regards to their 2021 plans?
It's a pity because Amazon used to be awesome a few years ago.
