I received a message from Amazon customer service indicating that a buyer reported that their order, which was delivered, has gone missing. They asked neighbors / postal carriers and have not found the items. The buyer provided an alternate address (a relative) indicating that it’s a safer area. Amazon said in the message “the buyer said she really wanted these items. if you cannot send replacements please issue a full refund”.
I know that if I don’t they’re going to likely override my decision. But if the item is delivered isn’t it someone else’s problem at that point? Or is there a policy that makes this my problem?
